Thank you for taking part in our April Hoax Event.. After all it is April and it is never too late for a bad April Joke.. This was ours. And you have to admit… This mess screamed for one hoax upcoming.

I know our hoax was neither good or brilliant but the next one will be more carefully planned. But this one showed an ugly part of the human mentality: It is more easier to believe things as to go some extra steps to be sure it is REALLY the truth! And every little bit of seed which feeds this believe will in most cases thankfully be accepted without being questioned as it should be in the first place. People cried out loud because they have been thinking that some homosexual lobby can be simply blamed for the Mozilla CEO’s departure – a simple and easy target. Mozilla could have made it better if they just had employed a person which would have shown neutrality to this topic would have for sure avoided such a reaction.
But the real point is: Every single person on earth is unique and has human rights. And these days it is no longer possible just to color things black while ignoring the fact that there are instead many different shades of grey.
So hereby i am saying sorry to all the guys who wasted time with believing this hoax and perhaps you all think a little bit more careful in the future what to believe and what not. Because…. Not everything is as simple and easy as it looks like at first glance 🙂
